RiverTech, is an SBA certified 8(a) company wholly owned by an Alaska Native Corporation. RiverTech’s 8(a) status allows federal customers to sole-source contracts of any dollar value to RiverTech – streamlining the acquisition process to put our Space-Maritime, C4IM, and C4ISR services and capabilities to work on critical missions.

RiverTech receives support from its parent company for common administrative services. This structure allows RiverTech to operate as a small business especially in terms of agility, autonomy, customer interaction, and decision-making.

Direct Negotiated Contract ANC 8(a)s may receive sole source contracts regardless of dollar amount. 13 CFR 124.506(b)
No Award Dollar Limit ANC 8(a)s are not subject to the $3 million limit on direct negotiated contracts applicable to other 8(a) firms. 13 CFR 124.506(b)
No Award Protest The eligibility of a participant for a direct negotiated or a competitive 8(a) requirement cannot be challenged by another party. 3 CFR 124.517(a)
SDB & Native American Credits Federal agencies that contract with ANC 8(a)s are able to claim Small Disadvantaged Business and Native American credits, including the Department of Defense Indian Incentive Program.
